That's very interesting that you put the least important word as 'I' - in fact I discovered that I is one of the most important words, 18th position in some lists of 750,000 words.
My teaching philosophy revolves around the concept of placing the word 'I' as a primary focus and through doing this, I'm able to work in a student-centered way. (The 'We').
I figure that most people consider themselves to be important within the frame of their worlds and by paying attention to this, we can encourage them to speak more - in English!
